The Gift of No Condemnation

“When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, ‘Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?’ She said, ‘No one, LORD.’ And Jesus said, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.’” — John 8:10-11 (AMP)
Beloved, here is a truth that sets you free: you are not living under the weight of condemnation. In this powerful moment with the woman caught in adultery, Jesus did not begin with judgment. Instead, He offered an astonishing gift: “I neither condemn you.” That gift came before the command to go and sin no more.
Too many voices still reverse the order—“Change first, and then you’ll be accepted.” But Jesus meets us right where we are, full of mercy and truth. Before any transformation happens, He offers forgiveness and grace. He silences the accusers, removes the shame, and restores your dignity.
Grace doesn’t make sin safe—it makes holiness possible. The revelation that you are completely forgiven gives you the power to rise above sin. Condemnation traps you, but grace empowers you. When you receive His forgiveness deeply, you begin to walk in the freedom He purchased.
Faith Confession: I am not condemned, because Jesus took my condemnation on the cross. I receive His gift of grace and walk in freedom today. The same Jesus who said, “Neither do I condemn you,” empowers me to live holy, confident, and victorious. I am forgiven, loved, and free in Christ!
