Be Healed
By: Daniel Adams
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest worse thing come unto thee. — John 5:14
Even when we don't deserve it, God's will is to bless and heal us. God is more willing to bless us than we are to receive. He’s not holding back any good thing including healing. God is good all the time; this is a constant and doesn’t change. While we were yet sinners God sent Jesus to save us. Our heavenly father is full of love and mercy to all who come to Him.
Notice in the above scripture, that the Lord Jesus had just healed a man who had been sick for thirty-eight years. The interesting thing is that this guy was clearly a sinner because the Lord’s instruction was, "go and sin no more."
Many well-meaning Christians believe and have taught that God puts sickness on people to teach them a lesson, but nothing could be further from the truth. God does not use sickness to humble or punish His children. Jesus was beaten before he endured the cross, and the Bible says, "by his stripes, you were healed."
I command sickness, every form of sickness to leave your body now in the mighty name of Jesus! Be healed in the name of Jesus!
Confession: My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and sickness and disease has no place in me. I am healed in the mighty name of Jesus! Hallelujah!
