God Is for You

What Shall We Then Say to These Things? If God Be for Us, Who Can Be Against Us? He That Spared Not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for Us All, How Shall He Not With Him Also Freely Give Us All Things? — Romans 8:31-32
God wants to use your life in carrying out His plans and purposes for the redemption of the world. God can’t get along without you any more than you can get along without Him. This is one of the reasons why Jesus gave us the illustration of the vine and the branches. Think about it, a vine can’t bear fruit without the branches, and the branches can’t live without the vine. They are both necessary.
Our text today is a part of the conclusion of the first eight chapters of Romans. This passage shows us the absolute oneness of the Father God with His children. It shows us the perfect fellowship and the cooperation we are to enjoy with our Heavenly Father. This passage unveils the authority that God’s children have over all of the forces of darkness and the circumstances of life. Then the passage goes on to say in 37: “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
God doesn't just stop at making you a conqueror, but he goes beyond in making you more than one! Praise God! God is working actively on your behalf. He is standing up for you. He is fighting for you. He is supplying all your needs according to His riches in glory. Out of the treasury of His abundant grace, He is giving you His wisdom and His ability to accomplish all that He has called you to do.
Confession: God is for me! I am one with my Father! He supplies all of my needs. I fellowship and cooperate with Him to fulfill His plans and purposes!
