Worry-Free Life

Take therefore no thought for the morrow for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. —  Matthew 6:34

God does not want you to go through life worrying about what tomorrow might bring. Instead, He wants you to know that He is with you and He has provided everything that you need to live in victory. Not one second of worry can change anything for the good. Worry opens the door to the enemy and can bring depression and sickness into our lives.

In the Old Testament, God provided for the Israelites by giving them fresh mana from heaven every day. They could not use the mana from the previous day because it would be expired. There was new, fresh mana for each and every day. There is a lesson here for us to learn. With every new day, comes a new provision for that specific day from God.

Jesus said that his yoke is easy and his burden is light. God wants you to simply trust Him and rest in His ability to take care of you today and every day. God is outside of time and knows the end from the beginning. He is just as much in your tomorrow as He is in today, so don’t worry about tomorrow, He has already been there and made provision for that day, so enjoy today!

Confession: God has not given me the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind I refuse to worry about tomorrow because I trust in the fact that He cares for me and I am sufficiently supplied in every area of my life in the name of Jesus!
