The Faith Life
By: Daniel Adams
Romans 1:17 (KJV). . . The just shall live by faith
The faith life is the best life to live! It is the life God has for us, and wants us to live (2 Cor. 5:7).
God wants to bring us to a place where our words and our actions agree. It won’t do any good to talk about faith if you’re not going to take actions of faith. And if it were somehow possible to act faith without talking faith, that wouldn’t do any good either, because your words and your actions must agree to see results.
Some people say one minute, “I’m believing God for my breakthrough.” Then, just moments later, they say, “Well, I don't know how I'm going to make my payments.” One minute it sounds like they’re talking faith, but in a few moments, their actions show otherwise.
Some will even quote God’s Word, saying, "I know the Bible says, my God shall supply all of my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus, but I don't know how I can’t pay the bills.” They mentally agreed with the truth, but they didn’t act as if it were so. Therefore they don't see results.
Today, let your words and actions agree that God's word is true.
Confession: I live by faith. I live the life of victory. God's word is truth. Facts are always changing, but God's Word is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I am victorious because I put the Word to work today in Jesus' name!
